iPhoneCat 3.0 on road

iPhoneCat 3.0

Apple routinely ignores Catalan speaking users. It does in Mac OS X, it does do well with iTunes and the iPhone.

In 3 years I am using this operating system I've seen, by the company's apple, no gesture to walk ahead of official recognition of Catalan in the face of their products.

As illustrated in this example from Apple ignorance, apparently voluntarily and willingly for years that if you search the iTunes Store, in the podcast section, select "advanced search" for all categories and language "other", most of the 50 first results are returned in Catalan.

The solutions then to use Catalan in our devices are sold to the altruistic efforts of users like Xin, Sam and Labòria Espitgn, among others, who work day in, day out in service of our community.

In a few days ago Michael published this article in Catalan Blog Apple announced that they are working on version 3.0 of the iPhoneCat: utility to translate the iPhone OS 3.0 below, in our language.

If you follow the link to see some screenshots of the new version will be available via Cydia (therefore only available to Jailbreak iPhones)

Thanks Michael, and all those who Espitgn so desinteresada, roll forward those projects that Apple continues to show that they are not of interest.
