Course schedule for Mac OS X in Catalan

Xcode Tools Installation

As you see in the picture on this post since I installed the Xcode Tools (found as "extras" in your Leopard disk) preparing myself for the next year of programming under Mac OS X that Xin and Michael Labòria begin shortly.

The notification in Xin go ahead this year, besides being a very appropriate initiative precisely such that the output of the SDK for iPhone and iPod has the world under the spotlight Mac developers, is very important for Macs and Catalan.

Explain the basis for development under Mac OS X, and do so in Catalan, bringing a degree of status and the importance of knowledge and material available to our community and we equated full to others, not many more , that they have.

In my opinion one of the most important news in recent times by the beautiful Catalan.

Although not intend to develop applications for Mac, iPhone or iPod Touch (as is my case), just to be able to deepen the foundations of such applications are made and more details about what the "development framework" for Mac OS X, it is based, a wonderful way to delve further into the roots of our "beloved" system.

Congratulations to Xin and Michael for the effort and initiative.

  1. Greetings from Paris ;)

The truth is that the course will in Xin, I will be one of the fans because the Mac, I have not ever programmed ...

  2. Thanks for you-in echo.
I hope to remain high, although it is something pretty basic.

  3. Xin Congratulations! Last week I was stirring something in Dashcode but do not know if I would venture to do anything. While you continue with the Xcode understands what you write ... x'D

  4. @ Michael: Come on! you'll be good to get it through Paris :-) I know that Xin is the master-teacher :-) and you'll also like the rest of us, student. But you are more gifted pupil and now wanted to mention for being the "host" :-)

@ Xin, nothing. Although it is something basic, not as I said in the text entry, I really think that is something very important to better understand our Macs. You really need to thank you for the effort! :-)

@ Roger: I have not .... I went with Dashcode

  5. @ Roger: If you want to learn programming with Dashcode know that is basically HTML and Javascript. So you need to master these languages. One way to learn is to take a simple widget and see how it is programmed. For example, you can download the widget I made for access to web dictionaries and try to make a new dictionary (do not the encyclopedia of Catalan because I got it half done). http://public.poble. cat / MacOSX / Leopard / widgets / ElDiccionari /

  6. I'm used to HTML and JavaScript but, although I am not programmer, I really do that with a Dashcode Widget RSS reader is licked. The subject is design and customize the code to do play different roles in the default. I do not think I have time to do really but you never know ...

Moreover, I will give you an idea if you get when you finish Greece wants more: The Cercaterm (www.termcat.cat). The joke was to find neologisms such as 'merchandising' in Catalan. I do not know if I could do it, as requested username and password, although there is a charge for visitors is available in the beginning.

BTW, I read the first chapter of the course via RSS. The following will go but I think it cost me quite keep pace. Surely soon start to flip. Anyway, congratulations! :)
